We were in a hurry, so stayed here only for 2 nights, nonetheless everything was great. Greatly enjoyed the way our modern room except for 2nd bedroom was arranged. Had nice facilities like an electric kettle, a microwave oven, and air conditioner. The hotel staff was nice, they all greeted us.

the beds were lovely, the room was incredibly comfortable and outstanding. really enjoyed the configuration of the particularly good bathroom and there were crisp white sheets and a lounge area. location: the hotel was just off the airport and car depot, the gold coast and a flight path. there was café cafe hunkydory, that i found within 25 minutes' walk of the property.

I recently visited a place that was supposed to be a holiday park, but it turned out to be more of an over 50’s village, which caught me off guard. Our cabin was clean and comfortable, which was a plus. But right off the bat, I noticed a used tissue in the bunk bed and some other bits of rubbish on the floor. Definitely didn’t expect that! The bathroom situation was really inconvenient. It was outside the cabin, and let me tell you, in the chilly night air, that's not fun at all. I really wished they had thought that through a bit more. there was a small TV mounted high on the wall, but the reception was a mess - just local shows and blurry images, which didn’t bother me too much, but still, a letdown for evenings when you just want to relax with something decent to watch. The air conditioning in the cabin was surprisingly quiet, which I appreciated, and those blockout curtains were a game changer! I slept like a baby. I had everything I needed for a week’s stay in terms of amenities, like the electric kettle for my tea and coffee cravings, and a few kitchen utensils. the microwave didn't work for me at all, which meant I had to resort to a vegemite sandwich one night. A simple how-to guide for the microwave would’ve really saved my dinner plans! Now, I did enjoy the fact that when I first stepped into the cabin, the fridge had this lovely jug of chilled water waiting for me. It's those little things that count, right? The sitting area was cozy enough, and I appreciated having a dining table to sit at. But I have to admit, the outside space with no real garden furniture kind of missed the mark for a place marketed as a holiday park. It just felt like there could’ve been a better ambiance for wanting to sit outside and enjoy nature. watch out for the airport flyover path! The noise was louder than I anticipated, but thank goodness the cabin didn’t shake when jets flew over. I had some interactions with the manager regarding discipline with kids playing, and it wasn’t a great experience either. Let’s just say, they could’ve approached things in a more friendly way. I did have some laundry facilities, but the taxi fare to local shops for the things I forgot really added up, so it’s better to prepare well if you plan to stay longer.
